"I'll go to the top of our stairs!"

Ive been trying hard to avoid becoming a broken leg bore, a fact which those closest to me might disagree with! However, I feel that today a real milestone was reached. Since the cast came off last week, I've been 'peddling' the ground and gradually gaining confidence in walking with one leg and tw0-arms-and-a-leg on the other side. I am still not to weight bear with the broken one until I have had the long screw removed next week.
But today, for the first time in 7 weeks, I was able to go up the stairs standing. I wouldn't risk the return journey on anything but the btm, but dignity is slowly being restored. Hurrah!
