A seasider's view

Stormy shoreline

Wild, wet and windy again today, especially if you are daft enough like me to loiter by the shore. Very glad I don't have to earn my living out on the water, it looked treacherous first thing this morning.

As ever, I'm afraid this shot only gives a taster of what it was like - but I was wary of drenching my camera again so this will have to do!

The weather is stimying my healthy attempts to walk Shortie to and from school. I don't mind a bit of wind and rain, but an hour's round trip in tipping horizontal rain and wind is no-one's idea of fun (surely??). So far this week we've made two trips on foot and scooter, out of a possible five - ah well...

On a cheerier note, I'm off to Glasgow later to catch a film (Malick's Days of Heaven) and possibly some food, so the weather can suit itself, as long as it doesn't put the hex on the train to Glasgow and back :o)
