Cherry picker!

I think I was moaning last week about having to write risk assessments but it is probably a good thing that we have to - today my pupils were treated to a ride in a cherry picker thanks to some lovely chaps from Hydro electric who came and parked their vehicles in playground and let everyone have a go at going to full height in one of them.

They wrote the risk assessments and provided the safety harnesses and I was amazed at how calm my pupils were at going to the full height of a lamp post in one of these contraptions!

I was allowed to accompany one of the kids and I loved the experience. You get a good view from up there!
