Voigtlander

This is my lovely Voigtlander vito bl, that i got at a car boot. It is a rangefinder camera so you have estimate how far away the subject is, as there is no viewfinder. You also have to set the aperture, shutter speed with the help of an inbuilt light meter.
Using manual cameras is how i learnt to take photos, so it is lovely to go back to 'the old ways' and see if i have still got the skills, the only thing missing is the darkroom!
Whilst i love my digital camera and the results it gives me i still believe that there is nothing better that a film camera in hand, setting the aperture, shutter speed, satisfying click of the shutter and then winding on.
