Swan on Battery Pool

A quick trip over to Battery Pool in Greenfield Valley before college, this is the one just over the road from my house.

Mike had been over with the dogs earlier today and said that the first baby cygnet had emerged. Needless to say it was keeping a very low profile. One of the swans was sat on the nest and this beauty came over to make sure I wasn't going to cause any mischief.

Will try again tomorrow to see if the little one makes an appearance.

A busy night at college, learning how to make a mosaic from a picture. I would have blipped it but didn't think it would be allowed.

Overcast and slight rain now but it's still warm.
