Alperton is not everyones idea of a destination when wanting chinese food, but right opposite Sainsburys is Loon Fung, a Chinese cash and carry. If you want anything distinctly authentically chinese, then this is where you should head. I can't even begin to describe the unusual foodstuffs within. They even have a cheese ice cream. And these people are about to take over the world!

Next door is The Golden Dragon. A Chinese restaurant which has the important credential that the majority of it's clientele are Chinese. They have an unusual list of ingredients on their menu, including abalone, and you don't see that down your local take-away.

To the left you will see that start of the modern glass frontage of the cash and carry but above The Dragon is this traditional pagoda style roof. Along with it's two guarding lions, a pair of rooftop dragons and lanterns.
