Reaching for the Sky

They seem to get everywhere, these cottonwoods. I've seen them from New Mexico and Arizona to frigid snowy states like Minnesota. I like their massive size and their deeply furrowed trunks and limbs.

Summer has returned, at least during the day, but blessedly cool at night still.
