October Tomatoes

The radio woke me up this morning with cool weather warnings. I skipped the gym so I could harvest the tomatoes, peppers, eggplant and squash that might object to a drop in temperature. I collected a load of basil, too. That will become various kinds of pesto. I have never tried pesto with cinnamon basil, but I will find out how it tastes this Friday when I bring it to Werner's George Kuchar documentary movie screening.
