Weird Weather

I had to dash up to Nelson after work tonight. No time to photograph anything on the way up as I had an appointment to get to.

On the way home I didn't feel like stopping anywhere so I'd decided to find something to photograph inside at home as I knew it would be dark before I got here. But...

I was admiring the sky thinking that it was pretty but nothing really startling, when I came over the top of Spooners Range and this sight greeted me. Well, I had to stop then. Didn't get out of the car though as it was pissing hosing down with rain. My camera was on the front seat but it had the my zoom lens on. There was no way I was getting out to get my other lens out of the boot, so the zoom just had to suffice.
