...Gang gang parrot....

I know this is a shocker of a photo,but to capture one of these parrots at all is very hard....they're very elusive......
This was taken before work this morning in the mist and rain....our situation normal at the moment....
There are a family in the area,identified by the sound they make which is like a creeky door opening and closing....so I followed the sound this morning....
My mission is to photograph them clearly one of these days.....The male has a bright red head...but not to be seen today......they're quite rare....I'm hoping there's a male around after the wind storm we had a few months ago......they live in the hollows of eucalypts....
