Travels with a Ginger Dad

Kallang Basin

The walk down and around the Kallang Basin may turn into a regular lunchtime thing for me; it's shady, nice views, birds, animals and very few people.

I blipped the squirrels on Monday but today, with nothing in the feeders, they were a wee bit more reclusive. So, after a seat under a coconut palm, I stitched together a panoramic view across the basin. I did a similar thing last week from the other side. You can just see that vantage point on the far left of today's effort (you don't walk round the whole thing in a single lunch hour).

G and I spent this evening watching another electric storm from the balcony; the kids played on their computers.

Today's back blip is a Cartoon Classic.
