'To see you, to think I really see you.'
You can hardly imagine how pleased I am to be able to blip these little boxes. This morning I went to the cupboard for my new contact lenses having thrown the last of my old ones away last night. I found the boxes of solution but no lenses. In no time I took the bathroom apart, still no lenses. I phoned the optician as soon as they opened at 9am. They were very helpful but no guarantee of a delivery by Monday when it's the opening night of my play. Panic beginning to set in. I could possibly manage but everyone on stage would have to remain a blur! Decided to look again not feeling hopeful. And there they were, lurking in a side compartment of the solutions box. Deliverance! New brand, new packaging. I rang the opticians who were equally pleased as they would not have been able to match my prescription in time.
Mike thought it was hilarious that one of my lines is, 'To see you, to think I really see you' and another, 'Have you heard my little piece of excitement?'
That is quite enough for one day thanks very much!
