Prime site?

I first noticed this billboard by my local bus stop yesterday and felt it was an indicator of the recession. Although quiet, my corner of Kensal Green has its fair share of well off and cultured inhabitants, prime targets for advertising you might think.

The revolving sign would normally carry three neat advertisements, switching between them at ordered intervals and with a satisfying thud.

Today it is stationary, tattered and unloved.

On closer inspection, there is more to the picture than meets the eye. Scan the QR code on the bus shelter ad and you'll find an advertisement for jobs in M15.

It seems that however hard the recession bites, the Security Services need more recruits. Or is that as a result of it?
