Lilies and Cabbages

I was given this lovely bouquet of lilies and cabbages (yes, I did say cabbages) last week, and the lilies are opening out now, and the cabbages are in full bloom. I have never seen these cabbages in a flower arrangement, although I have seen ornamental cabbages in flower beds outside. They are just gorgeous; should we eat them in a few days?
