"Occupy Philadelphia" Rocks

Not easy to choose a blip this morning, so I'll do a blipfolio later today --this time for sure. The weather and the general atmosphere were good, in spite of news from Seattle, San Francisco and New York that the police had violently supressed rallies in those cities. Here, police officials as well as union presidents mingled in the crowd, and the attention of the protest's organizers seemed to focus on practical matters. Press coverage is good thus far.

I had a sad encounter with a man I thought of as an old union friend, having not seen him in about a dozen years. I greeted him, but he wouldn't talk to me.

Old grudges never die. We just forget why they ever existed.
