A pleasant surprise

The end of a hot afternoon in the little port of Cefalu, in Sicily. We have just finished a visit to Roger II's magnificent Norman Cathedral with what is perhaps the world's finest Pantokrator in its apse. A tad tired and hot we have just settled down to a gelato in the Cathedral square. Then, in a quite surreal moment a newly-wed couple suddenly arrive to have their wedding photographs taken outside the Gelateria, at the side of our table. The bride looks enraptured but the bridegroom seems to be a little shell-shocked by it all!
