#thankyousteve
Like millions of people across the globe, I am saddened by the death of a complete stranger. Steve Jobs was a man who changed the world.
This is not something I say lightly. Reading the twitter feed today, I have seen a lot of wonderful things said about this man and am amazed by the depth of feeling for someone who in the main was not personally known to the tweeters.
Two really struck me, the first that 'Bill Gates put a PC in every home, but Steve Jobs put one in every pocket' made me consider the way Steve and Apple have revolutionised the way we communicate with each other on a global level, from texting to Facetime, my dreams of Sci-fi life in the 21st Century have been made that little bit more real (even though we are not wearing foil clothes and using hover cars!)
The other one was more simple and is the basis of my picture.
Three apples changed the world. The one eve ate, the one that fell on Newton's head and the one that Steve built.
Rest in Peace Steve Jobs, and thank you for changing the world. (And my life)
