Bradford Mill Fire II

As a postcript to yesterday's blip, here is the the same scene 15 hours later. Sadly, the mill gable end that was standing proudly after the fire was deemed too dangerous, and demolished, leaving a void.

Hopefully it's not the same police officer on duty 15 hours later. When I came past this morning their scientific teams were on site, investigating what they suspect to be arson.

This is apparently the seventeenth mill fire in the district since April, of which twelve were derelict.

I'll keep adding to my Flickr photo set of the mill, I still have some more from before the fire to sort through, they've suddenly become more precious.
