The first snow in town

This is what I saw when I woke up today - the first snow in Akureyri. It's been snowing in the mountains since the beginning of September but now it's reached our streets and gardens. Brrrrr....

And like every year since I became a mother of school-boys I didn't have mittens and hats ready for my offspring. I think I just have to accept it... I'll never be the Super-Mom I wanted to become :o)
