Peninsula Light

Sunrise over Munlochy Bay, and a field of barley that isn't going to be harvested today. Thought I'd try and catch something of the sun before it vanished for the rest of the day! Well, according to the forecast. Wider look of the view taken back in June, when everything was so lush.

Goodbye to cycle shorts for this year, and hello to gloves, and the heating going on. Those weather forecasters were threatening snow on the hilltops. Quite a change from last week, and perhaps more normal for the time of year.

Had a go at shooting from the hip again today, and learnt that whilst this camera can be fast, it's quite a bit slower than a DSLR. Only caught part of the back wheel of the cyclist that was hurtling closely past me on the pavement... narrow pavement.
