The Bus that never came

I love public transport.

I believe in public transport,

So, I believed I could get to a business meeting in The next city using public transport.

Tess and I walked in the rain.

I prepared and said goodbye and went for the bus. It would get me to my meeting a half an hour early.

It didn't come.

I noticed a notice.

Above head height, in smaLl print, it said 2 out of 3 of my buses wouldn't be coming. Which 2?
I WAITED FOR 3.

None came.

I went to work. I missed the meeting.
