The passing of a visionary

I think that everything that can be said about the death of Steve Jobs last night has probably been said by this point, and I don't have anything original to add. It is, however, a rather sobering thought to consider how his visionary ideas have changed the world in so many ways, and yet, suddenly, his genius is gone.

But that's how life works, and I think it's safe to say that the impact of his ideas and products will continue to be felt for a long, long time to come... Almost as a continuous tribute, a bit like the infinite loop of Apple's command key symbol.
