Welding

I left work a little early today and when I got home I worked on a work project. I am modifying some offset plate racks to hold rolls of media.

The most amusing this I find when I look at this photo in detail is how close those little molten metal sparks come to my flip flop clad feet. You'd think I would have learned by now. I have scars on top of my feet from welding in flip flops yet I still do it.

The welding went well, as did the cutting and grinding to shape. Everything is getting spot welded into place. I will give it a full weld later when I am happy with the shape of things.
