Constantine.

For those of you that have visited York and possibly
gone to view the Minsters Great West Door, you will
have noticed Constantine on the right, seated on his
plinth, keeping his eye on the comings and goings in
this busy area.
I took this to show that one night recently, he was not
so observant as to what was going on. You will notice
that to the right of him at ground level, a blank area,
which had a bronze plaque with all his history on it.
Recently overnight someone took this to sell for scrap.
Makes you stop and think, as to how this was done without
someone seeing the crime being committed, and was it
really worth it???
