Life on reflection...

Thank you all SO much for the happy birthday messages yesterday :) Sadly, I woke up this morning with post birthday blues or something....felt a bit flat :-/

I may have mentioned I am a very emotional person (!) and although I cannot describe to you the most amazing joy and wonder I feel when I am at one end of the spectrum....the other end is not so good :-/ That's the down side to it....but I wouldn't change it for the world :-)

In any case, there were some definite good bits to the day and I am just fine again now. :D Looking forward to some good things that I have planned, that are coming up. :)

The plan was to do more painting of the house today, but mother nature had other ideas. She seems just as over emotional as I am; we had golden sunshine one minute, then a downpour of rain the next. It did result in a lovely rainbow at one point though - I would have blipped it if it was a better photo! ;-) Rainbows are special aren't they?

Mr C was determined to persevere with the painting and I left him to it, (he wouldn't let me help.....honestly), while I went out on my usual blip hunt. As I was walking around, I realised that losing weight is not all good. All my clothes my trousers keep falling off! It is quite hard to carry a large bag, take photos AND hold on to your trousers the whole time!

I'm blowed if I am going to buy too much new stuff though....not when I have so far yet to go. I think instead I will treat myself to a collection of safety pins ;-) In fact I have just realised I haven't eaten today! Well, just a bowl of cereals...mind you with yesterday's over indulgence, I think it is probably still keeping me going. I couldn't even manage a curly wurly with my cup of tea last night, so I shall look forward to that tonight instead. :-)

Anyway, this was taken in the botanic gardens. It wasn't meant to be so dark and moody but I accidentally left a filter on the lens. Oops! Note to self....must remember to look at photos on back of camera to check now and again!

Ah well.....
