Surprise!
Surprise no Roxy tonight!
On Thursday my niece/god daughter Charlotte was 21! Her parents are arranging a surprise party for her. She has no idea, as she at university in Bournemouth. She is currenlty travelling back tonight to be greted with a marquee in the garden.
Charlie is very special to me, as her mum is my twin sister, and when she fell pregnant with Charlie, I had all my sisters symptons. I kept telling my sister that she was pregnant weeks before she found out for herself. I had bad backpain through the whole pregnancy, stretch marks (sister only had 1). Then when my sister went into labour and after hours of being in labour they gave her an injection of pethadine, and I collapsed! Scary moment that was.
So I see Charlie as the daughter that I have never had, and she will always be my little angel and favourite. I know you should not have favourites, but..........
Tomorrow will be a relly emotional night, as both my parents have passed away, and I have already shed a tear putting up photos of them tonight. Also they loved a good party.
Sorry to go on, but Carlie is a special part of my life, like my own daughter.
P.S. 13 years after Charlie was born, she decided to hae another child. Guess what the same thing happened and I had all the symptons again. She even phoned me one day to see if I thought she was pregnant. I told her he was not, but she would be b her next cycle, and true enough she was.
So although I have no children, I feel like I have had 2!
