Saturday morning, 8.15
Up at 6am, 10km run completed with my Lazy Runner pals.
It was a hot, muggy overcast morning but the forecast for storms seemed to be wrong at 7.15 when we went for coffee. But, in typical Queensland storm fashion, the dark clouds rolled in, the breeze changed, and this was the image I noticed as I headed back home. Fabulous storm clouds over Point Cartwright, taken from Alexandra Headland!
My only option was to grab my G9 camera and race down to the beach before the real storm started and rain started to fall. I miss the clarity of my real camera but what a sight at 8.15am. A few big chunky drops of rain fell on me but home dry with the storm grumbling outside now.
Blip done, now what to do with the rest of my Saturday.
