made a cake out of nappies and other baby items!

Went to a Charity Quiz night tonight.

Don't want to say too much because it was for charity.........picture round, pictures way too small and badly photocopied.........supper was ok........question master let too many teams cheat by using mobile phones, let too many teams argue with him about the answers and gave in to them.......had far too many questions on soap operas in the arts round.......marking and totting up done in secret......huge raffle (41 prizes) that went on far too long, plus an auction, plus leg waxing....the high spot was when one of our raffle tickets got drawn out and the S & H picked this as the prize..... a baby cake, made entirely from 36 disposable nappies, a bath towel, a dummy, a cuddly toy and several other useful items......but can you believe it, after claiming his prize he left the winning strip of tickets at the prize table....he went back to pick it up in case we won again.....only to find someone had pinched it and then presented it as if they had just come up to claim the prize and stole a prize with it!!!!!!!!!!

Don't think we'll be going next year.
