Yep I'm still here! I've been a bit quiet lately but the end is nigh... just 2 exams to go before I cease to be a part-time student (assuming I pass!!)

Got my essay back last week. I had thought it was the biggest load of rubbish I had ever put my name (well, student number, as they are marked anonymously) to. I can't remember ever getting a better grade than the one I got! Go figure

Just when we'd got used to living without earthquakes, there's a 4.8 this arvo. When they are so shallow (8km) and close by (about 10km from my place) they feel much bigger than the Richter number suggests. As I had expected, this one has come with aftershocks of its own... oh there's another one now... sigh
