Pacific Beach Surfers

As I said yesterday, we are staying 100 feet from the ocean at Pacific Beach, CA. I had to take one last look at the waves before we got on the road to San Diego State University. These two surfers were on their way down the beach to better waves at the point on the north end of the beach when they hit this patch of early morning sunshine. Even though the water was dotted with a couple of dozen surfers, few of them seemed to be riding the waves the relentlessly rolled onto the kelp-covered sand.
