Eye of the Tiger

Turns out that when you go out for a mountain bike ride in the p***ing rain, you get wet! Who'd 've thought! It's all a bit cold, wet and generally grim out but of the two, a jaunt off-road is preferable to a couple of hours on the road bike, methinks.

Very proud of myself though - managed to pass within a couple of hundred metres of the bike shop and not stop to purchase anything. This is an achievement not to be understated! Stopped off in the kids' park to see what the latest image is that has been added to the grafitti wall, et voila - a splendid tiger.

Pootled around Saltaire, Baildon via the moors etc. Very greasy on the trails but increasingly impressed with the Orbea's ability to climb. For such a big wheeled bike, it is surprisingly agile too. Much fun!

Drinking tea and eating parkin now - you've got to love Yorkshire in the Autumn!
