Soft Play Day
23months 16days
A different to normal but very fab day for Katie today. We started off playing at home for a while - she has made quite a creation out of a piece of wrapping paper, some pens and sellotape. Lots of sellotape. We then saw a few people (briefly) delivering a few things that needed deliverying. She got to see Jack and Abbie, then got to see Cousin2 as well!
We then headed over and met Ava with her parents at the gymnastics play centre. Katie had a lot of fun running round with Ava today. Katie enjoyed playing with the wall instruments in the baby section. She was happy exploring and just running round and round. But it was the hanging buoys that she loved today, dragging them backwards and forwards quite a few times. Mummy had fun too - I went on the vertical drop slide (death slides we always called them, but apparently that's not allowed anymore!)
We all had lunch together (the food is really nice we discovered) although Katie didnt want to sit for long before she went back to play. Of course, when we were ready to leave, she decided that she did want that last piece of cold pizza.
We were heading to meet Granny and Grandad, they were taking her out for a bit - she fell asleep fairly quickly when we left, and let me transfer her into the pram, so they pottered for a bit. But when she woke, they took her to the second soft play centre of the day! She apparently had time on absolutely everything, including every different ride on car. She made her own matching game out of soft play pieces and floor tiles, and ate lots of Granny's tea cake!
