Watching the River Flow

Front garden ... a million miles away from a river ... but this rather wet clump of crocosmia reminded me of rippling reeds under a fast flowing river. Okay, the constant rain's getting to me.

Today it poured ... and poured. A great day for the gym, plus a swim 'n' sauna. In fact, you have to go some to beat sitting in a sauna with a glimpse of the outside murk.

Looking forward to some goose tomorrow ... although I doubt if the 'Nature and Wildlife' group will be impressed with the cooked version on the menu!
