Mighty

After the beach visit, today we went for the bush walk. The goal was to get up close and personal with this Giant Kauri Tree.

The announcement of the intended walk didn't go down so well. Another beach trip was the request. Well, mummy was convinced the Kauri was worth the trip. Once we hit the trail, there was no more stopping them. It is always refreshing to see the affect of fresh bush walk air on their unimpressed brains.

The last few metres from here were all up the stairs, but no-one was disappointed.
