A blustery day
Today has been mostly windy, with the constant breeze being occasionally relieved by the odd howling gale. Luckily it has been quite warm and sunny too, so going outside was a little like visiting a hair-dryer.
I went into a camera-shop to buy some swabs for the sensor, but the owner explained that they don't sell them any more because of all the horror stories of people putting far too much fluid on and drowning the shutter mechanisms, or leaving streaks or scratches. I had been a bit dubious about doing it myself, and this convinced me not to. As it happens, the shop provides a sensor cleaning service, and so I left the camera there and will be picking it up tomorrow morning - hopefully with a squeaky clean sensor. That will be a weight off my mind, and also a bit of weight off the sensor, as it is encrusted with a ton of crud.
Eurovision is voting for it's favourite Eastern-European country at the moment. I don't know why they bother with the songs.
