All a Bit Slimy

I went to take a picture of a raging river today drawn by the roaring sound as it coursed through the rocks.
Before I got to the river's edge I noticed a rather ugly dying plant.
But the stems did make an interesting pattern.
There just wasn't enough light, so in a bid to blip something I opted for the looking up at the sky silhouette type shot....
...and spotted this snail creating this image.
It looks like some kind of macabre upside down peacock.
Interesting but I don't think I like it.
