Pacing on the phone

A better weather day than the forecast predicted. We've had some lovely sun here this afternoon, warm enough for L to spend the best part of three hours on the phone to one of her sisters in France!

The big news today is that Emma can knit! She suddenly revealed last night that she thought she could do it, but then every 5-year old thinks that! L had always thought that her being left-handed would cause a problem, but no, she went on to show us that she'd worked it out from watching L, and proceeded to knit a scarf that she has just about finished. OK, it is very chunky wool, but it's more than I can do.
