Hey look, another rock!!

Today was a more successful fieldtrip, with me actually managing to get out onto Arthur's seat without crippling headaches. Spent from 9 to 2 walking about in the wind looking for outcrops of rock, getting way to excited when we saw one type of rock touching another type of rock, and then got very confused in the lab afterwards trying to de-cypher the code we'd written on the map.

Got home, cooked haggis pizza (sounds awful, it's amazing) and off to work at the union now! I'm looking forward to Tuesday very much.

In case anyone was interested: This rock used to be pyroclastic flows from the now dormant 'Lion's Head' vent on Arthur's seat. Standing on an old volcano!
