Annual Finery

Every year we get treated to this sight. In fact, the procession is far longer than pictured here, so long in fact that today it brought to mind the Court of King Caractacus.

Of course, it wasn't actually made up of boys who put powder on the noses of the ladies of the court, but rather the highest judges north of the Humber who were processing through York today to mark the beginning of the legal year.
