Sunday Worship

Lots on today, "D" up really early to watch the SA/ Aus game and I joined him for the later NZ/Arg match. What a game, you could feel the atmosphere, eminating from the stadium through the TV. New Zealand had the uncertainty of a game without Dan carter and a under par Ritchie McCaw, but I really felt for Dans replacement Colin Slade who waited to shine his light only to be replaced due to a groin injury. Slades replacement Cruden did a grand job.
I was also distressed to see that the legend that is Mils Muliana has picked up a shoulder injury. Nothing is simple or straighforward for this team, but they always push themselves to the limit.
We had slight drama at our own match this afternoon that involved transportation for one of our young players to hospital by air ambulance. Everyone wishes him all the best and hopefully a speedy recovery.
Right, need to get ready for tomorrow now, ironing board here I come......
