Mmmm ....crumble

What a busy day! Got up at the crack of dawn to walk Peggy and turn Jack out and muck out his stable etc in order to get to Dan and Claire's for brekky. Had lush bacon butties with fresh homemade bread.

Then me and Claire collected Lorraine and went to Nottingham. Went a bit wild in Warehouse (there was a sale on) and bought a beautiful dress just for the hell of it. I have no occasion to wear it to it was just so lovely I couldn't bear to leave it! We were so busy shopping that we forgot to have lunch, but made up for it tonight. Dan and Claire (well mostly Claire - Dan peeled the spuds) made a roast chicken dinner with all the trimmings and then homemade blackberry and apple crumble with custard. Good job we have joined a gym!

Claire said she woke up at 7am and the first words to Dan were that she was going to start making jam out of stuff she finds in the hedge. She wants to be a domestic Goddess - I think she achieved that tonight.
