Wing mirror

Sometimes days throw up things that are totally unexpected and turn out to be the best thing!! Today was one of those days.

I got a call from a friend late morning asking me if I'd like to join her and her husband on a training flight over to Takaka. (Umm - hang on for a millisecond while I think about that one!!!) Her husband is learning to fly and today was a practice for cross-country navigation.

It was an absolutely stunning day in every respect. The blip I've chosen really is Julian's wing mirror - but it was a hard choice as to which pic to choose. You can see some other contenders for today's blip here.
