my senegal parrot Mickey ... she is special to me..
I recently found out (research at the University clinic Utrecht, the Netherlands) that she has cushings disease. Mickey is the first parrot (alive) in which cushings is found. Dr. Yvonne van Zeeland will now test about 5 other senegal parrots (dexamethason supressiontest) so she can write a scientific article about this.

I decided to change my Blip's name in 'Just a parrot's life' (instead of ellenparrots). Beyond parrots I just don't have much to blip and my birds are my life... so you mostly have to deal with my birds then!
