Norman and Audrey

After posting the tables yesterday, here are two shots taken at the event itself. Here you can see the couple who gave us an excuse for a party. Norman has been in our church for 71 years, since his family moved to Glasgow and after a time in another church they started coming to us. Audrey has been with us a mere 55 years, since marrying Norman. They have been involved in a wide variety of different things in the years since, and made a huge contribution to the development of the church. Today was a chance to say thank you. It went very well, everyone enjoyed the food and it was a great chance to hear old stories. The other shot is best titled 'Stuart in pavlova heaven'!

I'm now on Arran, and looking forward to some nice peaceful time with my Mum and the dog!
