Day of rest

Today has been a lovely restful day. My daughter went to church parade and then archery with the scouts, I baked a cake, my hubby baked bread, and my son played a complicated looking game with spaceships.

At one point I came into the living room and the kids were both on their gadgets but were actually playing together. I didn't ask what it was they were playing but they seemed to be enjoying it.

Shortly after this we went to our church, which this evening was held in a coffee shop. There were people there from newborns to people in their late 80's. It was really quite good fun. We had some live music and a lovely lady chatted a bit about some of her life story. The kids loved chatting to people, and my daughter loved cuddling the little babies.

That reminds me, must make arrangements for kids new friends to come to play
