Morraine Lake

The scenery in the Alberta rockies is truly spectacular and highlighted even more when the sun shines as it has done for the last couple of days.

Morraine Lake is a little less well known that Lake Louise, but is probably more spectacular. It is difficult to do it justice in pictures but here it is in full B&W glory.

The peaks in the background were named after the numerals 1-10 in the local Stoney Nation's language.
