Lichens on Apple Trees

Today I walked in the mist, looking at fungi, mosses and lichens, of all the trees, the apple trees supported the most lichen species, the trunks and branches were well covered.I found my lichen identification book, so I will look them up but for now I'm exhausted and off to bed!
