Thirty-two: the sound of silence

So I am a librarian, and I really like my job. I had to work today and came into work early, before the building was open. The library was so deliciously quiet. I turned on all the computers. The lights had not been turned on yet, and I listened to the pop and whiz of the monitors and computers as I turned then on, one by one.

I was also snapping my fingers and shaking my rump as I listened to my iPhone, turned up loud enough that I could hear it from the other side of the room. :)

I enjoyed the simplicity of being obnoxiously loud, without bothering a soul, and savored every second of it.
