It's nearly time.....

.....to make the Christmas cake.....actually 3 Christmas cakes (the firstborn and I do a joint baking session, ably assisted by the top stirrer/bowl-licking Granddaughter), and Saturday has been declared 'the day'.....but I need to get this lot by Thursday so I can soak the fruity bits in brandy. It won't be today though.....it's pouring down out there...........
