Last Day On Board
Today was a very hectic and busy day. We arrived with our tow this afternoon in Kabil and assisted with mooring it alongside the quay. I think I didn't show a picture of our tow before, but this is a so-called floatation tank. It gives extra buoyancy to a launch jacket. It was used in Australia and these tanks can not be used again because they are custom built for a specific jacket. We delivered it at 16:00, received fresh provisions, water and stores, did some inter vessel crew changes with the Retriever and left Kabil at 18:00 for Singapore. Half an hour ago, we dropped anchor on the eastern anchorage and are waiting for the bunker barge now. During the night we will take 800 cubic meter fuel and by the time that is finished the new crew will be here and we will go home tomorrow. The Husky will depart for Shenzen in China and from there to Korea and back to Batam. And that is the place where I will board her again. See you.
